Business and QA Analyst

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid/Remote)

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in Quality Assurance

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience and will be

responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Your prior

experience as a QA will be invaluable in this role, ensuring that requirements are not only

well-defined but also thoroughly tested and validated. You will play a crucial part in the entire

project lifecycle, from initial concept to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis:

  • Requirements Gathering: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user

stories, and functional specifications from stakeholders, including product owners,

developers, and end-users.

  • Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes to identify gaps,

inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business

requirements documents (BRDs), use cases, and process flow diagrams.
• Communication

& Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams,

ensuring clear communication and a shared understanding of project goals and

requirements.

  • Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate

workshops and meetings to align on project scope and deliverables.

Quality Assurance:

  • Test Strategy & Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts

based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Test Execution: Conduct

various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance

testing (UAT), both manually and using automated tools.

  • Defect Management: Identify, document, track, and report software defects and work

with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

  • Reporting: Create detailed test reports and provide regular updates on testing

progress, defect status, and product quality metrics to project managers and

stakeholders.

  • Quality Standards: Ensure that all products and services meet industry standards,

regulatory requirements, and user expectations.

  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively recommend and implement improvements to

testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor//'s degree in a relevant field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong emphasis on

technology-based projects.

  • 5+ years of experience working in a Quality Assurance (QA) role with strong

experience in testing web bases applications.

  • Web responsive testing using tool BrowserStack.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to lead

meetings and present information to diverse audiences.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Solid understanding of Agile and other project management methodologies.

Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a significant plus.
•

Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
