Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Android developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and

support to foster professional growth and development.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other

stakeholders, to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.

  • Drive the architecture, design, and implementation of Android applications, ensuring

adherence to best practices, coding standards, and performance benchmarks.

  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, identify areas for improvement, and

enforce coding standards.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the Android ecosystem,

evaluating and integrating new tools and frameworks to enhance development processes and

workflows.

  • Act as a technical advisor and advocate for Android development best practices within the

organization.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex technical issues, troubleshooting

problems, and resolving technical challenges.

  • Collaborate with QA engineers to define test plans, strategies, and ensure the delivery of

high-quality, bug-free software.

  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, proactive communication, and a

commitment to excellence in all aspects of software development.

Requirements-

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree

preferred.

  • 8+ years of experience in Android application development, with a proven track record of

building and shipping successful Android applications.

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, leading teams of software

engineers.

  • Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages, as well as Android SDK, Android

Studio, and related development tools.

  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, architectural principles, and best

practices for building scalable, maintainable Android applications.

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for tackling complex technical challenges and

finding innovative solutions.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities

simultaneously.
