Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled SQL & Python Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database management and scripting to support data analysis, automation, and application development. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SQL queries and Python scripts to support business operations and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures to retrieve and manipulate data efficiently.
  • Design and implement Python scripts and applications for data processing, automation, and integration with various data sources.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks using SQL and Python.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize database and Python code to improve performance.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for SQL databases and Python applications.
  • Implement data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience writing complex SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, window functions, and indexing.
  • Proficient in Python programming, including knowledge of libraries such as pandas, numpy, and SQLAlchemy.
  • Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, database design, and normalization principles.
  • Understanding of ETL processes and experience building automated data workflows.
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 3 years of Experience
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks (e.g., Java, R, Django).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Role & responsibilities
