Position Description: Finance Accountant

- Experience: CA with 1-3 years/Inter-CA with 3-4 years of experience
Position Role Description
- Lead, oversee timely the month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations, including vendor intercompany and balance sheet accounts. Identify and resolve discrepancies on timely basis
- Prepare all financial statements for the company, including monthly, quarterly and year-end.
- Ensure internal controls are in place to provide assurance that the financial information is reliable and accurate.
- Maintain accounting systems, including general ledger, journal entries, accounts payable, cash flow, fixed assets, and banking. Manage operational procedures and processes to improve efficiency and comply with audit standards.
- Liaise with statutory auditors for annual audits, ensuring smooth and timely completion.
- Coordinate with internal auditors, provide required documentation and implement corrective action
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and accurate data flow
- Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, timelines and compliance
- Conduct and support in reviews with Regional IMEA team for Financials
- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, company policies and internal controls.
- Support preparation of financial disclosures in line with applicable accounting standards.
Job Specification:
- Degree in accounting or finance preferably CA with 1-3 years of experience or Inter- CA with 3-4 years of experience
- Strong technical knowledge and exposure to financial accounting, controlling, reconciliation, compliance
- Flexible and adaptable able to juggle multiple tasks and competing deadlines
