Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and domain-focused Java Product Manager to drive the strategy and execution for our next generation of financial products. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Fintech sector, particularly in credit scoring, credit monitoring workflows, and lending technologies. This role requires a strong technical fluency in Java-based platforms and a proven ability to manage complex, regulatory-compliant financial products.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Vision: Define the comprehensive product vision, long-term strategy, and detailed roadmap for Java-based credit scoring and credit monitoring solutions, aligning them with overall business goals.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with engineering, data science, legal/compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure successful, timely, and scalable delivery of complex financial products.
• Product Definition: Translate complex business requirements, market needs, and regulatory guidelines into clear, detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from initial discovery and market validation through development, quality assurance, release, and post-launch optimization.
• Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth competitive analysis and continuous market research within the dynamic Fintech ecosystem to identify opportunities and maintain a market-leading position.
• Compliance & Risk: Ensure that all products and features strictly adhere to regulatory standards for financial data, credit reporting (e.g., FCRA/credit bureau rules), and data privacy.
• Agile Management: Lead Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives), manage the product backlog efficiently, and prioritize features based on ROI, technical feasibility, and business impact.
• Performance Analysis: Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), product metrics, and user feedback to continuously iterate and drive measurable product improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Total Experience: 10+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 8+ years in Product Management roles.
• Fintech Domain Expertise: At least 4+ years of dedicated experience in Fintech, specifically managing products related to credit risk, credit scoring, credit monitoring services, or digital lending platforms.
• Technical Acumen: Strong background working with Java-based development platforms (or equivalent enterprise-grade environments) and the ability to effectively communicate, debate, and collaborate with technical engineering teams.
• Credit Knowledge: Deep, working understanding of complex credit score models (e.g., FICO, VantageScore), the role of credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion), and the operational workflows of credit reporting and monitoring.
• Enterprise Product Management: Proven experience successfully managing and launching enterprise-grade, high-availability, and data-intensive financial products.
• Technical Environment: Hands-on experience managing API-driven products and working within modern microservices architecture environments.
• Methodology: Expert knowledge of the Agile/Scrum framework and experience leading product development in a fast-paced environment.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and written/verbal communication skills.

Pay: ₹2,300, ₹2,500,000.00 per year
