Role Overview

A Society Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a residential or commercial housing society. This includes managing facilities, coordinating with vendors, handling resident concerns, and ensuring compliance with housing regulations and society bylaws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facility Management
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of common areas (e.g., gardens, gym, lifts, pools).
  • Supervise housekeeping, security, and maintenance staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections and raise tickets for repairs or snags.
  • Administrative Duties
  • Maintain records of meetings, complaints, and resolutions.
  • Manage correspondence and documentation (e.g., notices, circulars, compliance reports).
  • Oversee attendance registers and visitor management systems.
  • Resident Engagement
  • Address resident queries and complaints diplomatically.
  • Organize community events and meetings.
  • Foster a harmonious living environment.
  • Financial Oversight
  • Coordinate with accountants and auditors for financial reporting.
  • Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial compliance.
  • Oversee billing, collections, and vendor payments.
  • Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure adherence to cooperative housing laws and society rules.
  • Assist in builder-to-association handovers and redevelopment documentation.
  • Prepare minutes of meetings and resolutions for AGMs and SGMs.

Skills & Qualifications

Details: Education Bachelor's in Management, Business Admin, or related field

Experience: Prior experience in property/society management

Preferred Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with STP, waste management, electricity systems, etc.

Software Proficiency: Society management platforms (e.g., ADDA), MS Office, Excel

Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for resident and vendor coordination

Leadership: Ability to manage teams and resolve conflicts effectively

Financial Acumen: Budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance handling

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300, ₹420,000.00 per year
