Worldline is a global leader in the payments technology space, powering commerce across all continents. We are looking for a Senior C++ Application Developer to join our Core Acquiring Tribe in Pune. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for building scalable, high-performance software solutions in the payments domain. Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain software solutions for processing electronic payments using the Worldline Pay Front Office suite.
  • Collaborate with Service Delivery teams to gather and align on functional requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate development activities with Product Owner, Scrum Master, and fellow developers.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented C++ code.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases.
  • Analyze test results and make necessary code adjustments.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Maintain and upgrade existing systems and implement customer-specific enhancements.
  • Document software functionalities and changes for ongoing maintenance.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers within the team.

Skills and Qualifications Required

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficient in object-oriented programming with C++.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines and working in a continuous development environment.
  • Familiarity with Git, UNIX, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and flexible mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work effectively in an international, scaled agile setup.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Experience with Docker and containerization.
  • Exposure to Cloud technologies and DevOps practices.
  • Previous experience in electronic payments, especially in Acceptance/Acquiring or Issuing domains.
