Senior Project Manager - Electrical - Benin Rural Electrification Project

Location - Benin - Cotonou, West Africa

Roles & Responsibilities :

Project Management:

  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and international best practices.

Business Development :

  • Explore and create business opportunities.
  • Identification of the right partner for JV wherever needed.
  • Ensuring timely submission of technical & financial bids.
  • Ensuring bid-to-win ratio as per internal plan.

Team Management:

  • Mentor junior project managers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and results-driven team culture.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with government officials, contractors, and local communities.

Desired Candidate Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience: Minimum 20 years of experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, specifically in rural electrification or power distribution.
  • Overseas experience is preferable.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including power systems, and distribution networks.
  • Travel/Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Benin and travel to any location for site visit and coordination.
