Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Development Manager to lead and grow our India-based engineering team focused on developing new features for Infor MES and integrating MES with other Infor ERP applications such as M3, LN, and Syteline. You will be responsible for managing delivery, driving technical excellence, and fostering collaboration across product and engineering teams to ensure high-quality, on-time releases.

Your leadership will enable scalable solutions that align with strategic business goals.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

• Manage and mentor a team of engineers building new features and integrations for Infor MES and related applications.
• Collaborate with product management, architects, and cross-functional teams to define project scope, priorities, and deadlines.
• Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Drive best practices in software design, code quality, testing, and deployment.
• Facilitate Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with global teams to ensure alignment of development efforts and integration points.
• Manage resource planning, hiring, and performance reviews for the India engineering team.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project schedules and quality.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and innovative team culture.

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience with at least 3 years in a people management or team lead role.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in .NET or Java-based enterprise software development.
• Experience managing teams working with ERP or MES product integrations.
• Proven ability to deliver complex software projects on schedule.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with distributed and global teams.

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Infor products like M3, LN, Syteline, or MES.
• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Software
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and SaaS product development.
• Knowledge of integration technologies such as REST APIs, middleware, and messaging systems.
• Experience managing remote or offshore teams.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
