Job Summary

The Sales Executive is responsible for generating leads, developing new customers, managing existing client relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets. The role involves field sales, client meetings, negotiations, and coordination with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, cold calling, and client visits.
  • Generate leads and convert them into confirmed sales.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with customers as per company policy.
  • Follow up on payments and coordinate with the accounts team for timely collections.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and customer data.
  • Coordinate with service/operations teams to ensure smooth order execution.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and review sessions.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Customer-oriented and result-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM preferred).
  • Willingness to travel for field sales.

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate / Diploma in any discipline (MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred).

Experience

  • 1–5 years of experience in sales (industry-specific experience is an added advantage).

  • New customer acquisition.
  • Customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Timely payment collections.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
