Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to oversee and manage the planning and scheduling aspects of road construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in highway/road projects, proficiency in construction planning software, and proven experience in coordinating with public sector officials and departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, monitor, and update project schedules in line with project timelines and milestones.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and consultants to ensure adherence to schedules.
  • Utilize construction planning software (such as Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.) for scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
  • Prepare progress reports, delay analyses, and recovery plans as required.
  • Identify project risks, potential delays, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with design, procurement, and execution teams to maintain seamless workflow.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with public sector departments and officials for necessary approvals and project clearances.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety, and quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in planning and scheduling within road/highway construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of 
    Primavera P6
    , 
    MS Project
    , or similar construction management software.
  • Excellent understanding of project management principles, cost control, and resource planning.
  • Proven experience in dealing with 
    public sector clients
     and government agencies.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
