Short Description
Manages the development, implementation and maintenance in the areas of systems analysis and application programming, quality assurance, web engineering, and database designs. Oversees 3rd party service providers in alignment with corporate policy and IT strategy. May have any of the following responsibilities: evaluates complex client area requirements and processes; prepares application system specifications; develops, tests, and implements efficient, cost effective application solutions; aligns with client management to identify and specify extremely complex business requirements and processes for diverse development platforms, computing environments software, hardware, technologies and tools; researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost effective solution for the systems design; analyzes, designs and executes quality assurance audits, procedures and processes; monitors and tests websites; defines and provides solutions to web and e-commerce systems and engineering issues involving the interrelated demands of hardware, software, telecommunications, security and control. Work is completed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management. Provides solutions to a diverse range of complex problems.
