MEP Manager

Role & Responsibilities:

Manage and co-ordinate with all the projects for MEP in accordance with Fire, Health, Safety (FHS) Regulations, Cost, Quality and Schedule as per the business requirements.

• Understand building systems and coordinate trade activity on the project including Electrical, HVAC, Fire, Plumbing, Security equipments, Low voltage systems including BMS, etc.
• Co-ordinate and execute matters related to MEP services for high-rise building projects in all its aspects: design, function, installations and coordination with respective teams.
• Co-ordinate the MEP design and execution between the design office, contractors and sub-contractors.
• Should liaise with various functional departments for matters pertaining to drawings, techno commercials approvals sanction plans etc.
• Co-ordinate onsite MEP activities, materials mattersprocurement, and other related activities with the Project Manager and Field Staff.
• Monitors the installation and start-up of MEP systems and commissioning of projects.
• Take overall responsibility for the performance and quality control of all MEP trades and co-ordinate onsite MEP activities, materials procurement, and other related activities with the Project Manager and Site Staff.
• Analysis of the basic requirements in various Projects like Electrical work including Sub-station, Internal and external lighting (HV & LV Side)Selection of Transformers, DG Sets, other Capital Equipments & Goods, HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Internal and External Water Supply, Soil, Waste & Rain / Storm Water, Landscape irrigation, Fire Fighting including Hydraulic calculations for Fire Fighting System (Sprinkler & Hydrant), Rain Water Harvesting, Sewage Treatment Plant, Solid Waste Management System, BMS system CCTV, PA System, Automated parking, Battery Backup, Solar system etc. to be provided in the project.
• Coordinate with main contractors, sub-contractors, operations and maintenance teams to obtain clearance before starting the work to ensure smooth and efficient execution of work.
• At project close out co-ordinate the production of as-built drawings to ensure they are delivered as per the contract requirements in terms of quality and time.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• B.E or B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 15 years relevant experience, of which a minimum 8 years in the construction of high-rise buildings.
• Should have hands-on experience in procurement, installation, testing and commissioning of all MEP Systems.
• Proficient in managing internal and external stakeholders such as vendors, design department, construction teams, site commercial, contracts, budgeting, legal, purchase, accounts, finance etc.
• Should have vendor handling on matters related to escalation, price variation, delays, disputes etc. and audit the performance of MEP subcontractors.
• Prior experience in precast construction is a plus and not essential.

Pay: ₹80, ₹120,000.00 per month
