We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Regulatory Compliance Specialist
In this role, you will:
Lead, motivate and manage the team, handling contingencies, learning & development, backup, succession & progression planning, and hiring management.Review and assign Regulatory Developments alerts to the respective regional reviewersCreation of 'Regulatory Development' records from alerts, and the assignment of actions and sub- actions, which will serve as a workflow management solutionBeing responsible for enhancement and documentation of the processPreparation of high level summary of the ongoing regulatory developments and share it with the business on a periodic basisPrepare and share daily, weekly, monthly Management ReportsPerform periodic Quality check on open/completed/assigned alerts and share the report with the business.Complete the UAT and provide feedback to the IT / businessTo be successful you will:
Minimum Graduation, preferably in Commerce (B.Com), BBA Good command of both oral and written English.Minimum 3+ years Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance, Regulation, Regulators and structures, Risk management framework is necessary.Utilizes own initiative to resolve issues. Ability to support decisions with sound reasoning.Flexibility to work in different shifts.Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and interpersonal skills, combined with strong courageous integrity to challenge, ask the right questions, be persistent, give and receive feedback positively, collaborate effectively within own team and outside team.Experience on systems and applications, with proficiency in MS Excel/Access/Word/PPTUnderstanding of the different Business Lines of Financial institutions.You'll achieve more at HSBC
