Job Title: Senior US Tax & Accountant (Leadership Role)

Location: Remote (Preferred: Mumbai, Pune, Chennai)

Shift Timings: 12 PM 8 PM IST

Experience: 6 – 11 Years

Budget: 7 to 12 lpa

Qualification: CA Inter (Must)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior US Tax & Accountant with strong expertise in US Taxation and working knowledge of US Accounting. The ideal candidate will lead a small team, manage client relationships, and ensure timely delivery of accurate US tax returns and financials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review US Individual (1040), Corporate (1120/1120S), and Partnership tax returns.
  • Handle tax planning, review of workpapers, and compliance with IRS regulations.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end reporting for select clients.
  • Ensure adherence to US GAAP and client-specific requirements.
  • Manage client communication and provide tax-related guidance.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, ensuring quality and performance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6 to 9 years of proven experience in US Taxation (major area).
  • Exposure to US Accounting and bookkeeping (minor area).
  • CA Inter qualification (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, Federal & State tax laws.
  • Hands-on experience in QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Prior experience with US CPA firms highly preferred.
  • Candidates with frequent job changes will not be considered.
  • Note: Candidates who joined new roles in 2025 are not eligible.
