We are seeking a talented and motivated Copywriter with 1-3 years of experience to join our growing team. As a Copywriter, you will craft compelling copy across digital media. You should have a knack for storytelling, keen attention to detail, and the ability to adapt your writing style to resonate with different audiences. You must be able to write well, think creatively, and be excited about working with clients across multiple verticals.

At plan-a, you will have the opportunity to ideate, create and execute winning campaigns for clients across various domains, from Fortune 500s to fast-growing SMEs. You will be called upon to be a creative thinker & team player, talented wordsmith and grammar sleuth

Responsibilities

  • Writing and editing engaging content for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
  • Collaborate with the design, strategy, and performance teams to ensure that copy aligns with visual elements and overall campaign objectives.
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure it is error-free, consistent with brand voice, and meets project requirements.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and platform updates to create fresh and innovative content.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to come up with new ideas and strategies for content and campaigns.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Optimising social media posts (language, tone, message) based on the brands target audience's behaviour.
  • Should have creative intent towards writing for digital platforms.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of campaign objectives and devise strategies to achieve them.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in an agency or in-house marketing team.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to write concise, attention-grabbing, and effective headlines and body copy.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Google Docs Suite or related software.
