Role: US Tax Associate

We are hiring a US Tax Associate with experience in preparing Form 1040 (Individual Tax Returns). This role supports our growing US Tax practice and offers strong career growth into reviewer and senior roles.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Federal and State 1040 tax returns accurately and on time. (Knowledge of other tax forms is an added advantage).
  • Work with W-2s, 1099s, 1098s, K-1s, brokerage statements, and other tax documents.
  • Apply tax rules for deductions, credits, dependents, adjustments, and capital gains
  • Maintain proper workpapers and documentation for each return.
  • Meet productivity, quality, and turnaround expectations (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with seniors for clarifications and learning.
  • Use US tax software such as CCH, Lacerte, ProSeries, Drake, UltraTax (any one is fine). Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience preparing Form 1040 (mandatory).
  • Open to any educational qualification with relevant US tax experience.
  • Understanding of basic US tax concepts and filing requirements.
  • Good communication skills and high attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn additional forms and grow within the team
