Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Middleware Audio & Routing Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing audio middleware solutions, enhancing audio routing capabilities, and ensuring high-quality audio playback across Android devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain audio middleware solutions for Android.

  • Optimize audio routing for various device configurations and use cases.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate audio features into applications.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve audio-related issues in collaboration with QA and development teams.

  • Stay updated on the latest audio technologies and trends, and implement best practices.

  • Conduct performance profiling and optimization of audio components.

  • Document processes, code, and system architecture.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

  • Proven experience in audio middleware development, particularly for Android.

  • Strong understanding of audio processing concepts and techniques.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Java, or Kotlin.

  • Experience with audio APIs like AAudio, OpenSL ES, or AudioTrack.

  • Familiarity with digital signal processing (DSP) and audio codecs.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with real-time audio applications or game development.

  • Knowledge of Android internals and audio frameworks.

  • Familiarity with tools like Android Studio, Git, and JIRA
