Role Description

As a Microsoft 365 Copilot Developer / Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy custom Copilot and Copilot Studio solutions across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This includes integrating generative AI experiences into Teams, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, and Power Platform applications. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Microsoft 365 extensibility, Azure OpenAI, and the Power Platform, with the ability to prototype, implement, and optimize AI-driven workflows tailored to enterprise needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build custom Copilot extensions, plugins, and actions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform.​
• Integrate Copilot experiences into Microsoft 365 applications such as Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint.​
• Develop intelligent workflows using Power Automate, Logic Apps, and Azure AI services.​
• Leverage Microsoft Graph API, Azure OpenAI, and REST APIs to create context-aware and data-integrated Copilot responses.​
• Work on PowerFX expressions, custom connectors, and data automation for Copilot-based solutions.​
• Build and enhance Copilot Studio agents (topics, triggers, variables, data actions) integrated with Power Platform and Dataverse.​
• Prototype conversational and generative AI experiences tailored for enterprise users.​
• Ensure AI features meet governance, compliance, and data privacy policies.​
• Collaborate with business users and solution architects to design secure, scalable, and meaningful Copilot workflows.​
• Stay updated with Microsoft Copilot innovations, AI extensibility updates, and responsible AI practices.​

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.​
• 4–7 years of experience in Microsoft 365, Power Platform, or Azure-based development.​
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio, including agent building, topics, and AI-driven interactions.​
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Graph, Dataverse, and Power Automate integrations.​
• Proficiency in PowerShell, C#, Python, or TypeScript for automation and API scripting.​
• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, and semantic kernel frameworks.​
• Experience with Power Platform connectors and customization workflows.​
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, with experience in agile or iterative development environments.​

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer (PL-400) or AI Engineer (AI-102).​
• Experience building chatbots, reasoning engines, or multi-agent systems.​
• Familiarity with AI safety testing, prompt engineering, and responsible AI practices.​
• Experience integrating Copilot with Dataverse-driven business applications.​

Compensation

Expected Pay-Scale: Between Rs 450+ per hour, processed monthly based on expertise (15–20 hrs per week work commitment expected).
