 Job description: Legal Intern

Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore

Duration: 3months

About the gig

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our in-house legal team for a 2–3 month internship. This opportunity offers hands-on experience in reviewing and drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and supporting the legal team in day-to-day corporate matters.

What you'll do

  • Drafting and reviewing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreements (MNDAs).
  • Assisting with legal research on regulatory, corporate, and commercial matters.
  • Supporting the legal team in reviewing corporate and commercial documents, such as MoUs, service agreements, vendor contracts, etc.
  • Maintaining proper documentation and version control of legal drafts and executed agreements.
  • Assisting with internal coordination and communications related to legal documentation.
  • Supporting other legal and compliance-related tasks and special projects as required.
  • Direct mentorship from experienced in-house legal counsel.
  • Insight into the operations of a dynamic legal department within a fast-paced organization.
  • Exposure to real-time legal issues and corporate governance documentation.
  • Opportunity to contribute meaningfully to legal processes and compliance initiatives.

What you bring

  • Currently pursuing LL.B. ( Fourth year and final year in 5-year course / final year in 3-year course).
  • Strong interest in corporate law, contract law, and legal research.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and legal documentation tools.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, attention to detail, and professional work ethic.
