Job Description – Backend Developer (Python)

Location: Jaipur, India

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with 3–4 years of experience in Python development to join our engineering team in Jaipur. In this role, you'll be responsible for building robust backend systems, scalable APIs, and microservices to support a range of applications and products.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including frontend, AI/ML, and DevOps—to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python (FastAPI, Django, or Flask).
  • Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Develop database schemas and manage data using PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Collaborate with frontend, AI/ML, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
  • Optimize application performance, security, and reliability across the backend stack.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team knowledge-sharing.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Python and backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and microservice architecture.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with asynchronous workflows and message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, Celery).

Good to Have

  • Experience integrating AI/ML models into production environments.
  • Knowledge of Vector Databases such as Pinecone, Qdrant, FAISS, or ChromaDB.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

Qualifications

  • B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in backend development using Python.
