Role – Staff Software Engineer (Full Stack)

We're looking for a Full Stack Staff Engineer with good backend experience to join the team that helps users navigate financial services through seamless chat and digital experiences.

You'll be responsible for building responsive, user-centric interfaces that make advanced AI capabilities intuitive and accessible. This role requires strong full-stack expertise, a keen eye for interaction design, and the ability to develop frontend, backend, and AI systems that power natural, personalized, and context-aware conversations.

As a key contributor, you will play a central role in crafting experiences that blend intelligence, automation, and trust—powering millions of interactions across banks, credit unions, and their customers.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain modern, performant web interfaces using React (or equivalent), delivering high-quality experiences across desktop and mobile
• You will build the backend APIs ), orchestration layers, and real-time messaging systems
• Collaborate closely with designers and product managers to turn wireframes and prototypes into elegant, production-ready experiences
• Design and implement frontend patterns, design systems, and reusable UI components that scale across use cases
• Handle session management, personalization logic, and dynamic content rendering to support intelligent agent behavior
• Optimize for accessibility, localization, responsiveness, and performance across browsers and devices

What You'll Bring

• 9+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack engineering
• Strong backend programming skills like Java, Node.JS, or similar, with deep understanding of asynchronous programming and system design
• Advanced proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)
• Proven experience building and scaling distributed services, APIs, and event-driven systems
• Familiarity with infrastructure tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience integrating services with data stores, message queues, and external APIs
• Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, accessibility (a11y), and responsive design principles
• Strong product sensibility and empathy for UX, edge cases, and error states in interactive flows
