Position Summary:

The Room Boy Intern supports the housekeeping team in maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas as per hotel cleanliness standards. The role focuses on learning housekeeping operations, ensuring hygiene, and assisting in providing a comfortable stay experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Room Maintenance
  • Assist in cleaning and preparing guest rooms as per SOPs.
  • Change bed linens, replace amenities, and replenish supplies.
  • Maintain bathrooms with proper sanitization and cleanliness.
  • Housekeeping Support
  • Help in cleaning corridors, lobbies, and service areas.
  • Assist with laundry and linen handling when required.
  • Report maintenance issues or missing items to the supervisor.
  • Guest Interaction
  • Greet guests politely when encountered during duty.
  • Respond to basic guest requests (extra towel, amenities, etc.) and report special requests to the supervisor.
  • Learning & Development
  • Learn standard cleaning procedures, use of housekeeping equipment, and chemical safety.
  • Understand hotel policies regarding lost & found, guest privacy, and safety.
  • Gain exposure to inventory management and housekeeping checklists.
  • General Duties
  • Follow hygiene and grooming standards at all times.
  • Adhere to duty schedules and instructions from supervisors.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect guest belongings.

Job Types: Internship, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹5, ₹7,000.00 per month
