1. Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance

  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all plant equipment (e.g., laminators, stringers, tabbers, testers, conveyors, etc.).
  • Attend to breakdowns promptly to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Maintain equipment history and breakdown records for analysis and improvement.

2. Equipment Installation & Commissioning

  • Support in installation and commissioning of new machinery.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for technical assistance during equipment commissioning.

3. Utilities & Infrastructure

  • Ensure optimal functioning of utilities such as HVAC, compressed air systems, water supply, ETP/STP, power distribution panels, etc.
  • Liaise with facility management for infrastructure-related maintenance.

4. Team Management

  • Supervise and guide maintenance technicians and support staff.
  • Assign daily tasks and monitor performance.
  • Train team members on new technologies, safety, and maintenance best practices.

5. Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities (SOPs, checklists, reports).
  • Ensure adherence to ISO, EHS, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Participate in audits and assist with documentation for certifications.

6. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify areas for improvement in machine uptime, energy efficiency, and cost optimization.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Support Lean, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives in the maintenance area.
