Job Description:

We are seeking a Microfluidic Engineer with strong expertise in computational fluid dynamics, microfluidic chip design, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing scientific literature, replicating and innovating microfluidic designs, performing simulations to validate their effectiveness, and coordinating fabrication and testing efforts with our teams across India.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed literature reviews to identify and assess innovative microfluidic designs.
• Design and simulate microfluidic systems using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools.
• Collaborate with fabrication teams across various locations for prototyping and validation.
• Troubleshoot and optimise system performance based on test results.
• Document findings and contribute to the development of research publications and reports.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Fluid Dynamics or a Master's degree with significant relevant experience.
• Proven experience in CFD simulations and fluid dynamics modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in tools such as COMSOL Multiphysics, ANSYS Fluent, or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-location team setup.
• Solid understanding of the physics principles governing microfluidics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the design and development of microfluidic chips.
• Familiarity with cleanroom fabrication processes and testing of microfluidic systems.
• Experience working in interdisciplinary research or startup environments.
