Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Levi Strauss & Co. Full time

Calling all originals: At Levi Strauss & Co., you can be yourself — and be part of something bigger. We're a company of people who like to forge our own path and leave the world better than we found it. Who believe that what makes us different makes us stronger. So add your voice. Make an impact. Find your fit — and your future.

The Data Management Analyst will play a critical role in strengthening the foundation of Levi Strauss & Co.'s global product data ecosystem. This role will focus on data management, cleansing, and enrichment activities across item setup, product hierarchy, and master data governance. The analyst will ensure that data is accurate, consistent, and aligned across global and regional (cluster) systems to enable better decision-making and accelerate key business strategies related to lifecycle management, pricing, and product architecture.

This is a high-impact role that supports both day-to-day operational excellence and the long-term transformation of our product data landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management & Cleansing: Execute data cleanup, validation, and enrichment activities to ensure accuracy and completeness across global and cluster-level product data.

  • Item Setup & Product Hierarchy: Support the creation, maintenance, and optimization of product hierarchies and item master data to improve data quality, traceability, and consistency.

  • Data Governance: Collaborate with global and regional data governance teams to define and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and business rules.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Merchandising, Planning, IT, and Analytics teams to ensure alignment of product data structures and to resolve discrepancies quickly.

  • Process Improvement: Identify gaps, propose process enhancements, and help standardize workflows to improve the efficiency and reliability of product data management.

  • Reporting & Insights: Generate reports and dashboards that track data quality metrics, highlight issues, and measure progress against cleanup objectives.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in product master data management, data operations, or related analytics roles (preferably in retail, apparel, or consumer goods).

  • Strong understanding of product hierarchies, SKU/item setup, and data governance principles.

  • Hands-on experience with ERP / PIM / PLM systems (e.g., SAP, Informatica, Stibo, etc.)

  • Proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and familiarity with SQL or data querying.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across global and regional teams.

Why This Role Matters

This role is essential in driving global alignment and consistency in how we manage product data — a foundational enabler for Levi Strauss & Co.'s transformation in lifecycle management, pricing strategies, and product architecture. By ensuring clean, structured, and reliable data, the Data Management Analyst helps unlock insights and accelerate our ability to deliver the right products to the right markets faster and smarter.
