Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CodeIgniter Developer who not only has strong expertise in PHP and CodeIgniter framework but also possesses a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications with a special focus on accounting-related functionalities such as invoicing, ledgers, payroll, taxation, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the CodeIgniter framework.
  • Work on accounting modules including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss etc.
  • Customize and integrate accounting functionalities into existing systems.
  • Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure data accuracy in financial reports.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
  • Debug and troubleshoot application issues related to accounting modules.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in both development and accounting systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, CodeIgniter Framework.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practical experience with accounting processes.
  • Experience in developing ERP or accounting software modules is a plus.
  • Good understanding of database design for financial transactions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in developing finance/accounting applications.
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, Taxation rules (based on regional requirements).
  • Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations (e.g., payment gateways, banking APIs).
  • Familiarity with other frameworks like Laravel will be an added advantage.
