Job Overview

Pinea is seeking a Junior IoT Embedded Developer to join our dynamic team. The position is based in Hyderabad with flexible employment options, including Full-Time, Part-Time, Hybrid, Freelance, and Contract roles. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience and will be involved in the development and implementation of IoT solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience with a minimum of 1 year in IoT and embedded development, showcasing work with real-time systems and applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Embedded C programming, focusing on developing efficient, optimized, and robust code for embedded systems.
  • Hands-on experience with IoT protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, or LwM2M, and a solid understanding of their application in IoT systems.
  • Knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT) architectures, platforms, and technologies to design scalable and sustainable IoT solutions.
  • Familiarity with sensors, actuators, and other hardware components used in IoT ecosystems for effective integration into projects.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug hardware and software issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of IoT solutions.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate technical requirements into functional solutions.
  • Must be adaptable to various working models, such as full-time, part-time, hybrid, freelance, and contract arrangements, based on project needs.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement embedded software solutions tailored to the needs of IoT devices and systems.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to design and optimize IoT-enabled devices ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
  • Configure, test, and calibrate sensors and actuators for integration into various IoT applications and use cases.
  • Maintain and enhance existing IoT products by updating the firmware and software to ensure security and productivity.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of embedded systems to meet industry standards and client specifications.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot IoT-related issues to improve device performance and functionality.
  • Document design specifications and ongoing development efforts, ensuring clear and organized project documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and innovative solutions for current and future projects.
