Job Title: Software Trainee

Summary:

As a Software Trainee, you will be part of the Telecom Project team supporting Engineering and Testing services for cutting-edge solutions in 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi, and emerging technologies. You will receive hands-on training in telecom systems, DevOps tools, automation scripting, and real-world telecom lab environments. The role is based in Bangalore, with potential travel for project assignments across India or internationally.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support engineering activities related to 4G, 5G, and 2G telecom technologies.
  • Assist in the verification and validation of telecom software tools and systems.
  • Learn and support DevOps practices and contribute to automation scripting (Python/Java).
  • Maintain and update daily lab status reports, including active nodes for Radio, Core, and other telecom services.
  • Participate in R&D activities involving next-gen technologies like 6G, NTN, and Private 5G services in India/Singapore/Dubai.
  • Provide on-call support to testing and operations teams on a 24x7 ad-hoc basis when required.
  • Assist in preparing documentation, email communications, newsletters, or presentations.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for project-related activities.
  • Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager or Project Lead.

Technical/Functional Competencies:

  • Basic knowledge of Python, Java, or similar programming/scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Understanding of IP networks and telecom infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office / Office 365 tools.
  • Strong communication, writing, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate in diverse teams.

Education:

  • Completed a Diploma in Electronics & Communication (ECE), Computer Science (CSE), or Information Technology (IT), BCA during 2024–2025.
  • Completed SSLC or HSC (10th or 12th) before the diploma.
  • Completed academic or personal projects related to software or telecom fields.

Language:

  • Fluent in English with excellent reading and writing skills.
  • Any of the Indian languages, such as Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, or Malayalam, is required.

Travel and Stay:

  • Part of the work may involve traveling across India with the Engineering Team.
  • Short Stay in the Project Location, less than 2 weeks, will be taken care of by the company.
  • More than two weeks, relocation to the Project Location is a must.
