What will you`ll do 

Summary:

Three of SAP's large customers have started their "RISE with SAP" transformations and tasked SAP to move their businesses to the cloud. As part of this transformation, the ~150 productive landscapes must be moved to Azure and AWS. In parallel to the migration, these customers are also undergoing their SAP S/4HANA transformations to become Intelligent Enterprises. With your understanding of ECS and hyperscaler security architecture, you will contribute to the ECS private Cloud adoption of the customer.

The Role:

As a Senior Cloud & Automation Architect, you are supporting the Head of Architecture and Technology Advisory as well as the team to define and ensure a secure and compliant system environment and drive innovation with tool design to fulfill our customers' demanding requirements. The candidate should ensure, together with the customer and the team, that the customer's needs can be fulfilled and will work together with other ECS teams, like the Technical Landscape Owners and CAE, to implement the proposed solution, as well as support automation tasks based on evolving architectural and operational requirements. 

What you bring

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in one of the following areas: Business Informatics, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering.

• 10+ years professional experience, thereof 8 years were as a consultant.
• Experience with SAP Enterprise Cloud Services.
• Very good hands-on experience with SAP technologies like SAP NetWeaver, Web Dispatcher, Cloud Connector, SAP HANA (XS/XSA).
• Experience with Web Dispatcher TLS Extension SNI + Azure GW V2 is an advantage.
• Experience with SAP Enterprise Cloud Services' tools like SPC and TIC
• Good technical knowledge/experience of SSO/SSL/TLS and integration technologies.
• Good background in software architecture and cloud technology.
• Experience in complex public cloud provider environments such as Azure, AWS, and the corresponding network environment/cluster setup.
• First-hand experience with ECS customer-specific solutions/architectures and/or with Migration Factory is an advantage.
• Experience in Technical Architecture/Implementation/Change Management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent in the English language.
• Ability to work effectively as a virtual member of a dynamic, dispersed team (remote).
• Ability to establish solid working relationships with clients.

To provide the right level of service and to cope with the complexity and the specialties of our clients, a dedicated team was established within Enterprise Cloud Services Region MEE to work for these customers only. The goal of this team is to operate the entire customer SAP landscape and drive innovation adoption.
