Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Java Spark Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in developing and optimizing big data applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Apache Spark, and related big data technologies, capable of designing efficient, scalable, and high-performing data processing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy big data applications using Java and Apache Spark.
- Design and implement data pipelines to process structured and unstructured data.
- Optimize Spark jobs for performance and scalability.
- Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve existing Spark-based systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in Java development.
- Proven experience with Apache Spark (core, SQL, streaming).
- Strong understanding of big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Good to Have:
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP big data services.
- Knowledge of Scala or Python for Spark.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Docker/Kubernetes.
