Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Java Spark Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in developing and optimizing big data applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Apache Spark, and related big data technologies, capable of designing efficient, scalable, and high-performing data processing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy big data applications using Java and Apache Spark.
  • Design and implement data pipelines to process structured and unstructured data.
  • Optimize Spark jobs for performance and scalability.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and improve existing Spark-based systems.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Java development.
  • Proven experience with Apache Spark (core, SQL, streaming).
  • Strong understanding of big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP big data services.
  • Knowledge of Scala or Python for Spark.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Docker/Kubernetes.
