Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive/Supervisor in Coconut Sourcing based in Pollachi, Coimbatore Tamilnadu. The role involves overseeing sourcing operations, managing farmer relationships, ensuring quality standards, and coordinating with the internal channel. The Executive/Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining the company's brand reputation.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification

Preferred: Graduate degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Supply Chain, Rural Management, or Food Technology.

Optional: Diploma in Agriculture or relevant trade (for entry-level roles).

In some cases, companies also accept candidates with a general graduate degree (B.Com, BBA, BA) if they have good field experience.

Experience

2–5 years of experience in agriculture sourcing, procurement, or field-level collection (preferably in coconut, spices, or agri-commodities).

Experience working with farmers, FPOs (Farmer Producer Organizations), and local markets is a big plus.

Exposure to export/processing industry supply chain adds value.

Skills Required

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Knowledge of quality parameters in coconuts (maturity, copra quality, oil content, etc.).

Ability to travel extensively and build farmer relationships.

Basic knowledge of supply chain/logistics.

Good communication in Tamil + English, and manageable Hindi

Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP, reporting).
