Key Responsibilities :

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and service consistency.
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering, and supplier relationships.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.

Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations.
  • Implement training programs to enhance service quality and team productivity.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Customer Service

  • Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Build relationships with regular customers and encourage repeat visits.

Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure all licenses, permits, and certifications remain up to date.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Enforce proper food handling and workplace safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety regulations, and hospitality best practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and basic financial reporting.
  • Customer-focused attitude with strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hospitality or business management degree (optional but beneficial).
  • Experience with staff training and development.
  • Understanding of marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
