Job Description

Overview

As a Senior Engineer, you'll apply civil, infrastructure, or structural skills to river and maritime works, helping clients manage assets and operations efficiently and safely.

Your role
  • Understand principles of water-related structures (treatment facilities, pump stations, tanks, retaining walls).
  • Lead feasibility studies, concept development, and detailed design with relevant code knowledge.
  • Apply analytical techniques to solve complex problems and present technical work to clients.
  • Deliver technical expertise independently in one or more familiar disciplines.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables while ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (geotechnical, environmental, structural, planning).
  • Assign tasks to technicians/apprentices and support junior colleague development.
About you
  • Bachelor's/Master's in Civil/Structural Engineering (Chartered Engineer preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Eurocode, BS codes, ACI standards.
  • Proficient in FE software (Robot, STAAD Pro).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; capable of preparing technical reports.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
