We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled
GCP Data Engineer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and cloud-based solutions on
Google Cloud Platform
to support data integration, transformation, and analytics. You will work closely with data analysts, architects, and other stakeholders to build scalable and efficient data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using GCP tools such as
    Cloud Dataflow
    ,
    BigQuery
    ,
    Cloud Composer
    , and
    Cloud Storage
    .
  • Develop and optimize data models for analytics and reporting using BigQuery.
  • Implement data quality, data governance, and metadata management best practices.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to ensure data availability and reliability.
  • Work with streaming data and batch processing frameworks to handle real-time data ingestion and processing.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and ensure high availability.
  • Develop automation and orchestration solutions using
    Cloud Functions
    ,
    Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow)
    , or other tools.
  • Ensure security, privacy, and compliance of data solutions in line with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills And Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or similar role, with 4+ years specifically on GCP.
  • Strong hands-on experience with
    BigQuery
    ,
    Cloud Dataflow
    ,
    Cloud Pub/Sub
    ,
    Cloud Storage
    , and
    Cloud Functions
    .
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, and/or Java for data manipulation and automation.
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing concepts, and data architecture.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualification:

  • GCP Professional Data Engineer Certification.
  • Experience with Apache Beam, Airflow, Kafka, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of machine learning pipelines and integration with AI/ML tools on GCP.
  • Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
