Position Summary
The International Student Recruiter is responsible for driving student enrollment from South India by building and managing relationships with education agents, schools, universities, and prospective students. The role involves executing recruitment strategies, managing pipelines across multiple regions, and ensuring enrollment targets are met while maintaining the institution's brand reputation and student experience.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Outreach
Identify, engage, and onboard new agent partners and education consultants in target markets.
Represent the institution at international fairs, school visits, webinars, and virtual/in-person recruitment events.
Research and analyze regional market trends to adjust recruitment strategies.
Student Recruitment & Conversion
Generate qualified leads and guide prospective students through the application process.
Provide accurate program, admissions, and visa guidance to students and their families.
Support students from initial inquiry through enrollment, ensuring timely communication and follow-ups.
Agent Relationship Management
Build strong partnerships with existing and new agents; provide them with training, updated program information, and marketing collateral.
Negotiate and monitor agent contracts and performance to ensure delivery on student enrollment targets.
Conduct regular agent workshops, webinars, and check-ins to strengthen collaboration.
Collaboration & Internal Coordination
Work closely with admissions, marketing, and academic teams to ensure smooth processing of student applications.
Share market intelligence with senior management to inform strategy and new program development.
Support digital campaigns and localized marketing initiatives to boost applications from assigned regions.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure all recruitment activities follow institutional, legal, and immigration compliance requirements.
Track and report on applications, deposits, visas, and enrollments against KPIs.
Maintain accurate records of agents, student leads, and outcomes in CRM systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience in international student recruitment, admissions, or education consultancy.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant field
Strong knowledge of US education markets, visa processes, and student mobility trends.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage students, parents, and partners across cultures.
Results-driven, with proven ability to meet or exceed enrollment targets.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple markets simultaneously.
Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and digital recruitment tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, International Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
Previous experience representing an institution at international fairs and recruitment events.
