Summary of the profile:

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging visual content, including animated graphics, video edits, and promotional materials for digital platforms. You should have a strong eye for design, storytelling skills, and proficiency in animation and editing software.

What you'll do here:

  • Design and produce high-quality motion graphics for videos, advertisements, social media, and web content.
  • Edit raw footage into polished video content for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the creative, marketing, and content teams to develop video concepts and storyboards.
  • Enhance video quality with graphics, special effects, transitions, sound design, and music syncing.
  • Adapt existing assets for various formats and platforms.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Stay updated with the latest design, animation, and editing trends and techniques.

What you will need to thrive:

  • Proven experience as a Motion Graphics Designer and Video Editor (Portfolio required).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop.

    (Experience with Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or other editing tools is a plus.)
  • Strong understanding of animation principles, visual storytelling, and editing techniques.
  • Ability to create both 2D motion graphics and video edits.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with 3D animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of sound editing and color grading.
  • Understanding of social media video requirements and best practices.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 2-5 years of experience in motion design and video editing (freelance or agency experience)
