Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled LaTeX Developer to support our publishing technology and production teams. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in LaTeX template development, XML workflows, and scripting for automation, with a solid understanding of end-to-end publishing processes.

Location: Pondicherry & Chennai (Work From Office)

Experience: 2–8 Years

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain LaTeX templates using PDFLaTeX, XeLaTeX, and LuaLaTeX
  • Automate publishing and production workflows using Python and Perl scripting
  • Perform XML transformations using XSLT to support XML-first workflows
  • Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end publishing workflows for journals and books
  • Work with XML DTDs, Schemas, and structured content models
  • Troubleshoot LaTeX compilation issues and optimize output quality
  • Collaborate with editorial, production, and technology teams to meet delivery timelines
  • Ensure compliance with client-specific templates, style guides, and quality standards
  • Support process improvements and workflow automation initiatives

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50, ₹60,000.00 per month
