Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive with 2-3 years of relevant experience to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate record-keeping, and contribute to efficient financial management. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial software, and the ability to handle petty cash responsibly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and reconcile petty cash transactions, including disbursements, reimbursements, and maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts under the guidance of senior finance staff.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts while verifying accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintain general ledger entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable, following up on outstanding payments as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience in handling petty cash and managing small-scale financial transactions.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, bookkeeping, and tax regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
