Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Purchase & Supply Chain Manager to oversee procurement, logistics, inventory management, and vendor relations. The role involves optimizing the supply chain process to reduce costs, improve efficiency, ensure timely delivery of goods/services, and support overall business operations.

Key Responsibilities:Procurement & Purchasing:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms.
  • Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor and control purchasing budgets and costs.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information.

Supply Chain & Logistics:

  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, sourcing, production, logistics, and warehousing.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (production, sales, finance) to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective transportation and distribution of goods.
  • Monitor key supply chain KPIs (lead time, stock turnover, delivery accuracy, etc.).

Vendor & Inventory Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Conduct regular supplier evaluations and performance reviews.
  • Manage inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
  • Implement inventory tracking systems to maintain accuracy and control.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental standards in procurement and logistics.
  • Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Stay updated with market trends, new products, and supply chain innovations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in purchasing and supply chain roles; managerial experience preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficient in supply chain software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, Excel).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
