Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural design and analysis for road-related structures such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and foundations.
  • Prepare design calculations, detailed drawings, and technical reports.
  • Review and interpret geotechnical, topographical, and traffic data to inform structural designs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes (IRC, IS, AASHTO, etc.) and client specifications.
  • Conduct structural assessments and recommend appropriate rehabilitation or strengthening measures.
  • Collaborate with civil, geotechnical, and highway design teams to integrate structural solutions effectively.
  • Support site teams during construction by providing technical clarifications and resolving design-related issues.
  • Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and material specifications.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure quality control in design deliverables.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering (master's preferred).
  • 2–3 years of experience in structural design, preferably in road and highway projects.
  • Proficiency in design software such as STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, ETABS, Revit, and MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of Indian Roads Congress (IRC) and IS codes.
  • Knowledge of modern materials, load calculations, and design optimization.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
