Job Descriptions:

Location: Chennai - WFO

Experience: 6 to 12 Years

Technical: PL/SQL, PGSQL, Stored Procedures, Performance Tuning

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
  • Migrate and refactor legacy Oracle PL/SQL code to PostgreSQL.
  • Optimise SQL queries and database performance across large datasets.
  • Implement data pipelines and ETL processes using cloud-native tools.
  • Collaborate with application developers and architects to integrate database logic.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across environments.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of database components.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production database issues and performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and PostgreSQL development.
  • Experience with stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL).
  • Familiarity with data migration tools and strategies (e.g., DMS, pg_dump, ora2pg).
  • Solid understanding of database indexing, partitioning, and query optimisation.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for database deployments.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies.
