I are looking for a creative and experienced Video Editor to become the main editor for my YouTube channel. The channel focuses on Gen-Z storytelling around business, marketing, finance, and AI trends, with a mix of long-form documentary-style videos and fast-paced Shorts.

This is a full-time remote role, with strong growth opportunities as the channel scales.

Responsibilities

  • Take complete ownership of editing all channel content you will be the main editor.
  • Edit long-form YouTube videos min) in the style of Think School / GrowthX structured storytelling, data-driven visuals, smooth transitions, and engaging pacing.
  • Edit YouTube Shorts/Reels (9:16) with fast-paced cuts, captions, memes, trending music, and hooks designed for high retention.
  • Repurpose long-form videos into short clips optimized for YouTube and Instagram.
  • Collaborate closely with the creator (me) to brainstorm visuals, experiment with new editing styles, and continuously improve content quality.
  • Ensure timely delivery of edits while maintaining professional standards.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of professional video editing experience, preferably for YouTube or social media.
  • Strong portfolio showing both long-form storytelling and short-form fast-paced edits.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve.
  • Knowledge of After Effects / Motion Graphics is a plus.
  • Passion for YouTube, storytelling, and understanding of business/marketing content.
  • Strong sense of timing, pacing, and attention to detail.
