Job Title: Garment Production Supervisor

Location: Sector-51 Gurugram

Timings: 9.30 AM to 06.30 PM

Days: Monday - Saturday

Salary: Rs 15000 to Rs 30000 per month

Job Summary

The Garment Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing all production activities within the garment manufacturing unit. The role involves effective production planning, manpower allocation, quality control, and ensuring that production targets are achieved within defined timelines. The position requires strong technical knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, leadership skills, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards while optimizing efficiency and minimizing waste.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 12th pass or Diploma in Textile/Garment Technology (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor / Line In-charge in the garment or textile industry.
  • Experience in managing production lines for women's Indian wear garments.
  • Prior experience in an export house environment is plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily garment manufacturing and production floor operations.
  • Develop and implement production schedules and resource plans (monthly, weekly, and daily).
  • Allocate manpower, raw materials, and machinery efficiently to meet production targets.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, ensuring smooth workflow and timely output.
  • Monitor hourly and daily production output; identify bottlenecks and take corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to garment quality standards through regular in-line and end-line inspections.
  • Minimize rework and rejection by maintaining process discipline and quality control.
  • Provide on-the-job training to workers and operators to enhance efficiency and skill levels.
  • Collaborate with design, cutting, finishing, and dispatch departments for seamless coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety, discipline, and company policies.
  • Maintain and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to management.
  • Lead initiatives for process improvement, waste reduction, and production efficiency.
  • Work closely with the design and sampling teams for new product development and launches.
  • Utilize data tools (e.g., Excel spreadsheets) for production planning and performance tracking.

  • Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes — cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing.
  • Excellent leadership, team-handling, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and grading.
  • Experience in quality control and compliance standards for the garment industry.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and basic production reporting tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹30,000.00 per month
