Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership

  • Lead and oversee the conceptual, schematic, and detailed design phases of projects.
  • Provide design direction and feedback to architects and project teams.
  • Ensure all design outputs meet the firms quality standards, design philosophy, and brand identity.
  • Coordinate with the Design Technology Coordinator to align on CAD/BIM standards, templates, and presentation quality.

Project Management

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
  • Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and contractors to align design objectives with execution.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
  • Resolve design-related issues during project execution.

Team Development

  • Mentor and support junior and mid-level architects in design thinking and project execution.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative design culture within the firm.
  • Conduct regular design reviews and workshops.

Quality & Innovation

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of design trends, materials, and technologies.
  • Promote sustainable and innovative design practices.
  • Ensure all drawings, models, and presentations adhere to firm-wide standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Architecture.
  • 8–12 years of professional experience in architectural design, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership/management role.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence across project types.
  • Proficiency in design and visualization software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Rhino, Lumion/Enscape).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to balance creative vision with technical and practical constraints.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
