Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly creative and skilled full-time Creative Content Specialist with a strong focus on both graphic design and video editing. This role will be crucial in elevating the visual appeal and overall production quality of our YouTube channels. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing compelling graphics, as well as editing raw footage into engaging and polished videos. You will work closely with us to understand content requirements and deliver visually stunning and impactful content.

Responsibilities:

  • Graphic Design:
  • Create eye-catching thumbnails for YouTube videos that accurately represent the content and attract viewers.
  • Design channel banners, logos, and other branding materials to maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
  • Develop engaging social media posts, promotional materials, and other graphics as needed.
  • Design visually appealing intros, outros, and lower thirds for videos.
  • Stay up-to-date with current design trends and best practices for online video content.
  • Video Editing:
  • Edit raw video footage into cohesive, engaging, and high-quality videos for various YouTube channels.
  • Trim footage, add transitions, incorporate music and sound effects, and ensure smooth pacing.
  • Implement graphic elements, text overlays, and animations to enhance video content.
  • Ensure videos are optimized for YouTube and other relevant platforms.
  • Maintain an organized library of video footage and project files.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely to understand content briefs and creative direction.
  • Communicate effectively regarding project timelines, progress, and any potential challenges.
  • Be proactive in suggesting creative ideas and improvements to visual content.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer and Video Editor, preferably in the context of online video content (YouTube, social media, etc.).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your graphic design and video editing skills, including examples of thumbnails, channel branding, and edited videos.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and optimization for online platforms.
  • Excellent visual storytelling skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • A passion for online video content and an understanding of YouTube best practices.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with motion graphics and animation (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
  • Basic understanding of video shooting techniques.
