Job Title: FT Trainee – Supply Chain

Department: Supply Chain / Logistics

Location: Chennai

Reporting To: Manager – Supply Chain / Operations

Job Purpose:

To support the Supply Chain / Logistics team in day-to-day operational activities, with focus on data entry, vehicle planning, documentation, and customer coordination. The role will provide hands-on exposure to logistics processes and help in building a strong foundation in supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry tasks in the system, including quick load posting for import/export operations.
  • Assist in vehicle planning and placement, ensuring timely updates in the software.
  • Collect, verify, and organize operational documents from customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Maintain records and assist in filing and documentation.
  • Coordinate with customers for follow-ups, updates, and collection of required information/documents.
  • Support the operations team in communication with transporters, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing simple reports and operational trackers as required.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company SOPs in all assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from a recognized university.
  • Prior experience or internships in logistics, supply chain, or operations will be an added advantage.

Skills Required:

  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to multitask and support daily operational requirements.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹18,000.00 per month
