Job Summary
The Student Counsellor will play a key role in converting leads into admissions for various courses offered by the institution. The role requires actively identifying potential students, contacting and counselling them (and their parents), and ensuring smooth enrollment. The counsellor should be proactive, persuasive, and student-focused, while also guiding applicants with accurate information on programmes, fees, and career prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Management & Conversion
- Contact prospective students through calls, emails, and walk-ins.
- Identify and qualify genuine leads with admission potential.
- Follow up consistently with interested students until closure.
- Achieve monthly targets for lead-to-admission conversions.
- Admissions Counselling
- Explain course details, eligibility, curriculum, fees, scholarships, and career opportunities to students and parents.
- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions (in-person or telephonic) to address queries and motivate enrollment.
- Support students through the admission process, documentation, and onboarding.
- Communication & Relationship Building
- Maintain polite, professional, and persuasive communication with students and parents.
- Build trust and provide guidance to ensure a positive admission experience.
- Maintain accurate student enquiry and conversion records.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum Qualification: 12th pass with experience in lead conversion
- Preferred: Any degree or postgraduate qualification (not mandatory).
- Experience in telecalling, lead handling, or sales/counselling preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and local language).
- Ability to identify genuine leads and focus on conversion.
- Student-friendly, approachable, and result-oriented mindset.
Selection Process: Direct Walk-in Interview . Date 10th Wednesday 2025 from 12pm to 5 pm
