Your new tasks Exciting and future oriented

  • Delivering the technical system/subsystem within the specified time, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Preparing preliminary and detailed electrical engineering drawings including overview diagram, single line diagrams, Layouts, BOQ etc.
  • Conducting technical reviews and submitting designs for AC and DC Traction Power Supply substations, auxiliary power supply system and emergency power supply system (Diesel generator set, UPS and DC charger) for rail electrification systems
  • Conducting technical review and submitting technical specifications of electrical sub systems (Transformer, HV/MV Equipment, Cable, etc.) within substation.
  • Coordinating technical and non-technical interfaces with collaborators such as Project Managers, Suppliers, and other Sub-systems to ensure the integration of all electrical systems within substations.
  • Managing, planning, organizing, and controlling engineering work packages for substation design.
  • Controlling and reporting on projects or sub-projects to collaborators.
  • Participating in contract management and project compliance processes.
  • Identifying and managing opportunities and risks within the project or sub-projects.
  • Providing technical support during manufacturing, testing, installation and commissioning phases.
  • Collaborating with sales departments and project management during both the bid phase and the project realization phase
  • Coordinate with discipline managers in line organizations for necessary support and provisioning.
  • Technical clarifications with sub-suppliers abroad
  • Visits to domestic/international supplier and project locations for witness of equipment testing and stakeholder meetings respectively.
  • Participation in technical liaison meetings with customers, suppliers, and Siemensinternal departments overseas

Your qualification Well-grounded and adequate

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, ideally in the field of power distribution, electrical control systems, traction power substation design
  • Knowledge of High-Medium voltage technology with good understanding for system design, manufacturing process, installation, training, and testing & commissioning matters in electrical substations
  • Knowledge of auxiliary and emergency power supply system
  • Knowledge of Earthing and Bonding system of electrical substations
  • Knowledge of measuring, control and supervisory systems
  • Knowledge of relevant European and International Standards (IEC, IEEE)
  • Knowledge of engineering processes.
  • Knowledge of Engineering / Technical Management for electrical systems
  • Experience in project realization, preferably in an international project environment

Desirable

  • Experience in the railway sector, especially in the field of railway electrification power supply
  • Experience in design and planning of electrical AC/DC substations
  • Intercultural experience and English language
  • German Language knowledge (Reading/Writing/Speaking) will be preferred.
