Job Title: NPD Quality Executive

Department: New Product Development (NPD)

Location: Pune

Experience: 3–7 years

Industry: Plastic Moulding / Automotive / Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality assurance during new product development (NPD) and tool trials.
  • Review and approve PPAP, APQP, and control plans.
  • Conduct product validation and part inspection using standard measurement tools.
  • Collaborate with design, tooling, and production teams to resolve quality issues during development.
  • Monitor and report on first article inspection (FAI), sample approval, and customer feedback.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for part quality and technical clarifications.
  • Maintain documentation and compliance with customer and IATF 16949 requirements.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/BE in Mechanical/Polymer/CIPET or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in NPD quality, preferably in plastic injection moulding.
  • Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, GD&T, and quality tools (FMEA, MSA, SPC).
  • Good communication skills and experience in handling OEM quality systems.
